About the Teacher
Ciao! It's a blast to be a part of Team 8-3 this year!
During the past 16 years at Rotolo Middle School, I have taught language arts, social studies, drama, speech, debate, and advanced communications. Also, I was the yearbook advisor for 4 years and have coached 7th and 8th girl's volleyball. I feel privileged to be able to work and grow academically, socially, and emotionally with the students and teachers on Team 8-3.
As a first generation full-blooded Italian, I enjoy......FOOD! My favorite snack is Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (Dark), hence the nickname "Reesie." Around my classroom, a spectator might see my Reese's memorabilia. In addition, some of the hobbies and activities I love to do are: traveling, running, biking, yoga, Pilates, tennis, shopping (especially for shoes), and going to baseball games...GO WHITE SOX!
My family legacy stems from Southern Italy where both of my parents were raised. They came to America at the ages of 15 and 22 to fulfill their dreams. Together, the Campanelli 'famiglia' includes my mom, two sisters, a brother, 3 nieces, 1 nephew, and 3 Godchildren. About 10 years ago, I was married in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and my husband's name is Ryan. Our son, Rocco, just turned seven this August, and he is such a joy to have in our lives! We were also blessed with our daughter, Vivianna, who will be three years old in November. During the year, I enjoy having the opportunity to gain a different perspective as not only a teacher, but as a parent.
Without my family, I don't know what I would do. This is why your children are lucky to have you in their lives for guidance and support! Ciao for Niao!

Thank you and I look forward to a great year!
